Hi. I’m Kathleen.
Kathleen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New York City. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan and a Master in Social Work from Columbia School of Social Work. The focus of her practice is to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to those impacted by various medical and psychosocial concerns.
Kathleen has over a decade of care-work experience assisting individuals of all ages grappling with mental health concerns and learning disabilities. She specializes in the treatment of depression and anxiety individually, as well as working with families and couples. Kathleen believes that all individuals are capable of change and growth when given the space for healing.
In addition to her clinical practice, Kathleen has worked as a researcher at Columbia University, assisting in analyzing and coding survey data to understand gender biases in educational performance.
Interested in holistic wellness, Kathleen was a farmer at a biodynamic life-sharing community in rural Ireland. The community she was a part of fosters inclusivity for residents living with learning disabilities and congenital disorders.
Kathleen has a love of poetry, writing, nature, animals, and active mindfulness practice.
